NEWS FLASH!!!!!

Along with the whole Wisconsin team, I finished the Anchorage marathon! In spite of a sore knee I ran the 26.2 miles in 4 hours 18 minutes.

1,375 TNT runners raised more than $4.7 million for Leukemia research! Thanks to all my supporters. You helped me raise more than $10,000! Your contribution will save lives.

Gratefully -- Art.

In August 2002, my good friend Al Hall passed away after a five-year fight with Leukemia. Al and I met after college, become close friends and were best men in each other’s weddings. Our friendship began in 1977 and continues in my memory today.

Since Al’s death, I have looked for a meaningful and personal tribute to his memory. Now I have found a way to honor Al’s life and help cancer patients through medical research, patient support and community.

On June 19, 2004 I will run my first marathon in Anchorage, Alaska as part of a team of runners supported by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In addition to the personal challenge of running more than 26 miles, I hope to raise $4,500 in support of cancer patients.

Your tax-deductible contribution will support research aimed at finding a cause and cure for Leukemia and related cancers.

Take a minute to sign the guest book and say hello.

Thanks for your support.
